after I apply it and it dries, the dry patches of skin from my pregnancy make blotchy orange spots. I tried vaseline before foundations, but I just made the foundation spread funny. Any good ideas? thanksHow do avoid ';orange spots'; from foundation on dry patches of your face?
YEAH I GOT AN IDEA
ditch ur foundation!!!
instead use a powder foundation cuz it doesnt clog pores or make u brake out also ur skin can breath. And on top use a little and i mean little bronzer.and some blush but dont use it in circles on ur cheeks cuz it makes it look childish. Start from ur cheekbone and brush it lightly up to kinda ur ear. somewhere between ur eye and ear. hope i helped!!How do avoid ';orange spots'; from foundation on dry patches of your face?
Moisturizer helps me i like Neutrogena
mix your foundation with a little bit of facial lotion
do you use moisturizer daily? start using Cetaphil face wash and moisturizer! that will definitely help with the dry spots. and with the orange spots... are you using a right foundation color? you may need to go a lot lighter.
test foundation on your jawline then take a mirror outside to see if its the right shade. don't be embarrassed to do so. its your face, so put your best one forward :D
You might try using an exfoliator on your face once a week. It will remove some of the dry patches and make it super smooth. And make sure you use a good moisturizer.
I would also try switching foundations, that one doesnt sound like it's the right shade for you. And when you apply it, use a foundation brush or sponge to get a nice even application. If you dont need as much coverage you could also try a powder foundation.
Use a hydrating mask at least once a week, then more if you need it. Then moisturize before applying your foundation.
a richer moisturizer should help. Give it time to dry a bit before putting on your foundation.
Also, you may be getting a reaction to the foundation. Think about switching to a different formula/brand, in a shade matching, and see if it makes a difference.
