I have tried loads i currently use lancome but it looks a bit like a mask Any Ideas??Which is the best Foundation for combination skin.Dry and oily patches?
i would reccomednd loreal ideal balence. i tadapts to suit each part of your face so it wont make the dry areas look flacky and patchy and wont make the oilyness look greasy unlike many other foundations. it totally evens out your skin and makes it look amazing. i would definately reccomend it. it also lasts through a whole day witch is great.
to apply, first exfoliate to get rid of any dry or flaky skin. if you are going to be doing this every day get a super gentle one like liz earle as not to damage your skin.
allow your moisturizer to dry and absorb before applying your make-up, this may take a few minutes.
always use a non-mineral, oil-based moisturizer that will not clog pores. if your moisturizer does not absorb into your skin, neither will your mineral makeup.
use a setting powder as a base on oily skin...it will help absorb the oil naturally.
using special enhancers such as ';polished'; will refract light and make your dark under-eye cirles disappear. also use in the corner of eyes, mouth, etc. to reduce the appearance of fine lines.
mineral make-up should be applied in light layers. if you feel you need more coverage, keep applying light layers.
also you could try using a deep moisturising cream before applying make-up on the dry areas, something like elizibeth ardens eight hour moisturising cream. good luck.
hope this helps

Here are the some of the most popular Foundations:
Almay
Anna Sui
Bobbi Brown
Clinique
Cover Girl
Estee Lauder
Iman Beauty (good for dark skin tones)
Lanc么me
L'Oreal
M.A.C.
Maybelline
Origins
Philosophy
Revlon
Smashbox
Most important is to use a mild cleanser on your entire face twice a day. Then a good moisturizer on the dry areas only.
Look for products that normalize your skin, such as those that contain alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs or fruit acids) or retinols, a vitamin A derivative.
Use oil-absorbing make-up on the oily areas of your face to help control shine.
Do not apply much foundation either. Less is best.
I have dry skin with patches and had problems finding a foundation for years, but have just discovered Mac studio fix its amazing, went to Mac on friday for a makeover and got some amazing things, the brushes are even fantastic. I got studio tech powder and all the other basic bases. Honestly I have used loads of brands in my time and I can't believe I never tried Mac.
Also the Mac perfume smells beautiful.

Arbonne makes excellent foundation for all skin types. Also, you might want to make sure you are using a good quality moisturizer underneath your makeup. Again, I recommend Arbonne's skin care lines. I use them personally and professionally.
I have combination skin as well and find that the best foundation for myself is Rimmel's Lasting Finish. I do start off with a mattifying primer from Cargo's Blu Ray collection, a primer might be something that you should consider looking into.
I recommend Mary Kay's Creme-to-Powder Foundation. It glides on like cream to hide imperferctions, then dries to a soft powdery matte finish. It is great for all skin types.
Clinique Superbalanced is quite good for your type of skin. Also Stila Natural Finish foundation is nice too... give them a shot! Good luck
Bourjois is a great foundation.
try the maybeline pure or cover girl clean with the BLUE cover or it will clog your pores
Revlon
Bare Minerals
The best I have found is bee luscious ask for samples they are AMAZING!
